+# Dave's Guix channel
+
+This is a place for sharing bleeding edge or transient software that I
+make that doesn't belong in Guix itself.  I host packages for my game
+jam entries here, for example.
+
+I don't host substitutes so everything here will get built from
+source, but there's nothing that should take very long to build.
+
+## Using this channel
+
+Add the following to the list in `~/.config/guix/channels.scm`:
